Your account is automatically enrolled in text message (SMS) two-factor authentication (2FA) when you open an account with us. You are enrolled when you add your phone number during the account application process.
Once you enter your phone number, you will need to click the “Send code” button. Once you click the “Send code” button, you will be sent a notification to the device connected to the phone number you provided. The notification will include a verification code. You will enter the code into the platform within the box titled, “Verification code” and click “Verify” to complete the two-factor authentication setup.
Each time you log into your account, you will be required to enter the code sent to your phone number. You can also change how you receive your two-factor authentication code after you open your account. Read “How to edit two-factor authentication” to learn more.
If you’d prefer to only enter a verification code every 30 days, you can check the box next to “Trust this device for 30 days” when you enter your Verification code during login. If you check the box and log in, you will not be asked for a verification code until 30 days have elapsed.
