# 1099 tax forms and importing them into TurboTax

## Learn which 1099 forms Frec issues, when to expect them, and how to import your Frec Securities 1099 into TurboTax.

### Your 1099 tax form

If your account has had a taxable event, you'll receive a consolidated 1099 tax form that includes one or more of the following sections:

### 1099-B

All full-share sales are reported on Form 1099-B, regardless of amount. Fractional share sales under $20.00 may be exempt from reporting under the de minimis rule.

### 1099-DIV

- Distributions such as dividends, capital gain distributions, or nontaxable distributions paid on stock, and liquidation distributions.
- Only amounts of $10.00 or more for distributions paid on stock, or $600 or more for liquidations, are required to be reported on the form.

### 1099-INT

- All interest income not already reported on other forms is reported here.
- Amounts of $10.00 or more are reported in boxes 1, 3, and 8.

### 1099-MISC

Reports at least $10.00 in royalty payments or broker payments in lieu of dividends, or at least $2,000 in miscellaneous income.

### When you'll receive your tax forms

Tax forms are made available by February 15th of the year following the tax reporting year (if that date falls on a non-business day, forms are available the next business day). You'll receive an email notification from taxnotification@apexfintechdocuments.com when your tax forms are ready. You'll be able to download them from your Frec **Account settings**.
